If you live in Japan, you’re in luck, as there’s a new tablet out there for you to have fun with: I’m talking about the NEC Medias model shown below. We’re dealing here with a 7 inch TFT slate with a dual core processor, waterproof case, LTE and NFC.
There’s also 1Seg TV on board and if you want, you can see the NEC Medias tablet in action in the promotional video below. This model, known by its full name as Medias Tab N-06D is considered the thinnest tablet with LTE out there and it also offers some interesting new TV features such as V-High. We’re dealing here with a device made by NEC Casio Mobile Communications, so it’s the fruit of the cooperation of multiple top notch companies.
The device uses a 1.2 GHz CPU, great speakers and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There’s also a dual camera on board, plus infrared, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and the entire package weighs 350 grams and measures 9.9mm in thickness. The screen has a WXGA resolution in case you’re wondering and I can’t help but ask myself if this product will ever arrive to Europe or the USA…
