ASUS is also a presence at MWC 2014 and although their hands on sessions are scheduled for tomorrow, they made the news today. They debuted a LTE and dual SIM version of the ASUS FonePad 7, that we reviewed and found quite satisfying last year.
This model features 4G LTE connectivity and the rest of the specs stay unchanged. Those include a 7 inch IPS screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and a 1.2 MP front camera. We’ve also got a 5 MP back shooter, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.
There’s a 3950 mAh battery inside. The other new version is the ME175CG, with dual SIM support and 3G connectivity. There’s an Intel Atom Z2520 1.2 GHz processor inside, clocked at 1.2 GHz and the same features as the LTE version. No idea what the cost is or when the products will debut.
