Finally we have some intel on the new Motorola Xoom tablet, in the WiFi version, that will debut on March 27th. This time we also have a price for it, as the device will go for $599. Retail availability will be pretty wide, with Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Walmart and many other chains adopting the product.
Aside from lacking 3G and 4G connectivity, the device is the same, as far as hardware is concerned. The WiFi-only Xoom comes with a dual core Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera. There’s a 10.1 inch display upfront with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and the device already received an Adobe Flash 10.2 update fresh after its launch.
