Talk about potent tablets… Motion Computing just upgraded the enterprise slate C5 with a Core i3 CPU. The previous models relied on the Intel Core i5 or i7, so this model will be more affordable, making the C5v unit an entry level product, so to say.
Motion C5v is considered a Mobile Clinical Assistant, ideal for healthcare users. It comes with 30GB of memory, a $1,899 price tag, handwritting and speech recognition. There’s also an optional digital camera, front webcam, plus a barcode and RFID scanner. This is a rugged tablet, that includes a handle for easier carrying in hospitals.
A dock is also available with the slate and purchasers ca also add optional mobile broadband. As far as the OS is concerned, you get Windows 7.
