Believe it or not, it’s bargain time in the tablet segment, even without having a special Black Friday deal, or any sort of other holiday. It all happens courtesy of Gearbest, who is providing a slate with the price of $76.99. What’s special about this device is that it’s an unnamed machine with a 10 inch Full HD resolution and also with a huge amount of storage and RAM.

It provides 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. I must admit I’ve never seen a 512 GB tablet up close and it sounds a bit like an error, the wrong price of wrong storage listing. The Gearbest listing also mentions a 13 megapixel back camera, 3D surround sound and a thickness of just 6.9 mm for the device. It’s made of “smooth material”, making it comfortable to hold and carry. Even the battery sounds solid, at 8800 mAh in capacity (Li-Ion Polymer).

Then there’s the 8 megapixel front camera and Bluetooth 4.1 support, plus GPS and Android 9.0 Pie as the OS. It even has an audio jack, WiFi of course and also a design that reminds us of the Huawei MediaPad T5. Forgot about the CPU almost: a MediaTek MT6582, a quad core unit that’s 8 years old almost. Honestly speaking it all sounds rather weird, strange, unusual or scam-like. There are even reviews at the bottom of the page here, claiming that little kids were quite happy with the device. One of them even has a picture.

Proceed with caution!
