According to some industry sources, LED TV backlighting demand is expected to stay at the same level in 2014, while the price and penetration for LED lighting it’s expected to increase.
This increase for LED lighting is expected to be used by some companies as Veeco, that is expecting to see an increased demand for products used in OLED flexible handset devices.
This means we could see more flexible devices like LG G Flex or Samsung Galaxy Round, devices that use an OLED display that allows bending and flexibility.
