Just 2 days ago Microsoft announced the latest Surface products, including the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2. Now the devices are ready for prime time as they’ve become available for preorder on Amazon. Let’s see what the prices are.
First up is the Microsoft Surface Pro 6, available in Black and packing a pretty fast 8th gen Intel quad core CPU. It also promises all day battery life and provides an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and HD capture. The product starts at $899, but you’re probably going to end up spending an extra $129 or so on the keyboard. The basic version has a Core i5 CPU, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
It plays nicely with the Surface Dial, Surface Pen and Surface Arc Mouse, as well as the Signature Type Cover. The device packs a 12.3 inch screen with a 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution and runs Windows 10 Pro.
Surface Laptop 2 on the other hand comes with a luxurious Alcantara covered keyboard and starts at $999 for a Core i5, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version. This laptop has a 13.5 inch screen with a 2256 x 1504 pixel resolution, it runs Windows 10 Home and weighs 2.76 pounds. You can opt for a Core i5 or Core i7 CPU, 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
