Micromax has a new tablet, a very interesting model called Canvas Breeze and it manages to stand out from the crowd through its unusual format. The device is a 7.85 inch slate with 3G and voice calling and it’s priced at $157. Its format feels a lot like the one of the BlackBerry Passport, only without the QWERTY keyboard.

This is also a dual SIM unit, with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, an IPS panel and a quad core 1.2 GHz processor, as well as Android 4.2 as the OS. There’s a 5 MP back camera and a front 2 MP shooter, while the device is just 6.9 mm thick. Micromax Canvas Breeze Tab P660 opts for a MediaTek MT8389WM processor, together with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB extra.

Aside from 3G, we also get WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a 4000 mAh battery. The product comes in black and red and it’s a Snapdeal exclusive for now. It also bundles 500 MB of data per month for 6 month for Aircel customers and a free Micromax wireless router worth $39.
