Meizu has kept away from tablets so far, but they appear to be ready to make the transition from smartphones to bigger screen devices. We also have a leak of the premiere, the device being potentially shown below.
It’s not the brightest idea in the world, seeing the current state of the slates, but it’s always nice to have a new competitor. Their new model is a 7.9 incher, that seems to be made of metal and it has a minimal bezel. The photo surfaced on Chinese social media and seems to show a camera with flash at the back, plus the Flyme logo and what appears to be the symbol for a cloud storage solution.
A physical Home button with fingerprint scanner is present upfront and sadly we have no specs for this model, but seeing how Meizu has a phone-related event scheduled for November 30, we may learn more then. If I were to guess, I’d say we’re getting a MediaTek Helio X or P series CPU here, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 13 MP back camera and a 5000 or 6000 mAh battery.
