Mediacom unveiled a trio of new tablets recently, having the core naming pattern of SmartPad i2, available in 7 inch, 8 inch and 10 inch variations. These are dual SIM models, with 3G connectivity and affordable prices, starting at $89.

The SmartPad i2 series actually includes two 7 inch models, one available in gold and the other in metallic gray. There’s 8 or 16 GB of storage here, an Intel Atom X3 CPU, a main 2 MP shooter and 0.3 MP front camera, while the other 7 inch version has a 5MP/2MP combo. The 8 inch model has a HD resolution and the 3 variatons of 10 inch slates also bring similar resolutions.

The starting price of the 7 inch, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage slate is $89, while all the others bring the same amount of RAM and 16 GB of storage. $143 is the max amount of money you can spend on such a device, it seems, for the 10 inch 1280 x 800 pixel 3G, 16 GB unit. There’s also a preinstalled Infinity app, offering 6 months of content streaming and over 6000 movies and TV series.
