Gemini is a low cost tablet maker, that just unveiled two new 7 inch slates in Great Britain. One of them is the Gemini JoyTab Duo 7, that only has WiFi connectivity and it will sell for about $124. The device packs a dual core Cortex A9 CPU at 1.6 GHz.
Other specs include 1 GB of RA, dual cameras (2MP back, VGA front), 8 GB of storage and a 2800 mAh battery, that’s pretty low capacity for a tablet, if you ask me. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, unlike the other new model, Gemini JoyTab Duo 7 3G, a 3G unit with HSPA connectivity and a bigger 5800 mAh battery. This device runs only Android 4.0 ICS, for some reason…
The JoyTab Duo 7 3G packs a bigger 5800 mAh battery and it’s priced at an affordable $217. I suppose that the rest of the specs stay the same, including CPU, storage, RAM and cameras. Having a look at the Gemini website, I can’t help but notice that the designs of these slates look actually notice. Hopefully in real life they’re nice as well…
