Lenovo has explored every format there is in the world of laptops and tablets and their latest endeavour is the Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i. This 2 in 1 tablet is a 13 inch Windows 10 slate with a 2160 x 1350 pixel display and support for up to a 10th gen Intel Core i7 CPU. It’s coming next month, also packing 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage.

There’s a built in kickstand in the mix, a detachable keyboard cover, with backlit keys even and digital pen support. Connectivity is up to date, with WiFi 6, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and optional 4G LTE. For security we have an IR camera with Windows Hello face recognition. The Yoga Duet 7i will drop in June priced at $1320 and it’ll be available in Europe for starters at “select retailers” and small business channels. The product measures 0.36 inches in thickness and weighs 1.76 pounds, which sounds pretty light and compact to me.

It doesn’t skimp on ports: 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ones, audio jack, SD card reader. Also it has a 5 MP front and back camera. The display mentioned above, the 13 incher provides up to 450 nits of brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut. Lenovo claims that the device will come with Windows 10 Home or Pro. Another piece of novelty here is the support for a new type of digital pen dubbed Lenovo E-Color pen. It has a built in color sensor, which lets you detect colors by touching the pen to a real world object and pressing it down.

Said color will then be applied to apps like Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. That sounds pretty badass and I wish I saw this on other devices too. Can’t wait to see the final product in stores.
