Lenovo ships the tablet with Android 14, layered with its ZUI 16 interface, and has committed to an upgrade to Android 15 alongside security updates until January 2027.

The Tab K9 packs a 5100mAh battery with 15W fast charging support, promising up to 12.5 hours of video playback and 16.5 hours of web browsing on a single charge. Connectivity features include WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. An LTE variant is also available, supporting multiple GSM, UMTS, and LTE bands for on-the-go connectivity.

Lenovo has integrated dual Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers for an immersive audio experience, complemented by a single microphone. On the camera front, the Tab K9 features a basic setup: a 2MP fixed-focus front camera and an 8MP autofocus rear camera. Security-wise, the tablet supports Face Unlock but does not include a fingerprint sensor.

Weighing around 320g, the Lenovo Tab K9 is available in two sleek color options: Luna Grey and Seafoam Green. The box includes a USB Type-C 2.0 cable, a 20W charger, and a SIM tray pin. While Lenovo has not yet disclosed pricing or regional availability, more details are expected soon.

In addition to the Tab K9, Lenovo has also teased its upcoming Idea Tab Pro on Amazon India.
