Lenovo has a new tablet coming, the TB3-850M model, that recently got certified by TENAA. We seem to be dealing with an 8 incher here, that has a pretty unusual design, judging by the pictures from the certification authority.
The device measures 9.21 mm in thickness, so it’s a bit on the bulky side, plus it weighs 347.25 grams. It offers support for GSM, TD-LTE, FDD LTE and WCDMA, so yes, it can also be used as a phone. Inside we find a 4200 mAh battery, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The CPU is a quad core one and we also get a 5 megapixel main camera and 2 MP front shooter.
The chipset is very modestly clocked at 1 GHz and it’s probably a MediaTek unit, or who knows what other surprise, maybe something like Spreadtrum if the price is really, really low. Anyway, this is the kind of slate that reaches carriers for very low prices.
