Lenovo already unveiled a part of its of the products it’s going to bring to CES 2023 and those include a tablet. It’s called Lenovo Smart Tab M9 and it’s a pretty basic offering, with Google Assistant and a cute design.
As the name points out, this is a 9 inch device which fits between the Smart Tab M8 and the Smart Tab M10. Oddly enough, even the price is known now, as the Lenovo Smart Tab M9 costs $139.99. It should be available from the second quarter of 2023 and it should be a midrange slate. It comes with a 9 inch LCD touchscreen, with a 1340 x 800 pixel resolution, which right away tells us it’s an entry level machine.
It also runs on a MediaTek Helio G80 octa core processor, coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. There are also versions with 4 GB of RAM, 64 or 128 GB of storage, but said storage is expandable. It’s available in two color versions: Arctic Grey and Frost Blue. Smart Tab M9 runs on Android 12 and it supports the update to Android 13. There’s a 5100 mAh battery inside with 15W fast charging via USB-C.
The product has Dolby Atmos tech, a vertical format and Google Assistant support. CES 2023 will take place between January 5th and the 8th in Las Vegas and more laptops and tablets will be unveiled there.
