Lenovo debuted the Miix 2 8 inch tablet last month, after it also appeared at Computex 2013 and now the device has been listed on preorder in Germany. The product runs Windows 8.1 actually and it’s priced at 299 euros.

The price applies for the 32 GB version and Germany is among the first countries to get the slate. This product relies on an Intel Atom Z3740 1.8 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and it’s all crammed inside a package weighing 350 grams. This is meant as a rival for the Acer Iconia W3 and W4, plus the Dell Venue 8 Pro.

Lenovo Miix 2 is supposed to offer 7 hours of functioning time and its resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels. The CPU inside is the new quad core Bay Trail and for some reason the listing says 1 GB of RAM, although I can’t tell why. We also get Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, a microSD card slot and Windows 8.1 bundles Office 2013.
