There’s a new gaming tablet on the market from Lenovo, the Legion Y700 (2023), which was released widely in July 2023, but it only now reaches India. In India it also gets a new name, Lenovo Legion Tab 8.8 Gen 2.
It’s identical to the Y700 from last year, bringing an 8.8 inch 2560 x 1600 pixel IPS LCD display with 500 nits of brightness. It relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There’s even a microSD card slot and at the back we find a 13 megapixel main camera, plus a 2 MP Macro shooter.
We also get an 8 megapixel selfie cam and a 6550 mAh battery in the mix, with support for 45W fast charge. There are also dual speakers here, as well a dual X-axis haptics. You can also pair the device to your PC via Lenovo Freestyle, for content sharing and other features. It also integrates with the Lenovo Legion monitors and accessories. There are also USB-C ports, with DisplayPort 1.4 support, so you can connect to an external display. It all weighs 350 grams and measures 7.6 mm in thickness.
Available in Storm Grey only, the machine is priced at 34.999 rupees ($416).
