A week ago a leak revealed that Lenovo was preparing its very first gaming tablet, the so called Lenovo Legion Gaming Tablet. We got to see its facade and a bit of the back side, while today we also get some teasers for the product, coming officially from Lenovo.

These new images are coming from a Lenovo product manager, serving as teasers for the future product. The slate will adopt a boxy design, with sharp and angular edges. We can also see the JBL inscription, as well as Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos tags. These all mean that the slate will focus on high end acoustics and a great gaming experience. It seems to have a brushed metal finish, for a more premium look.

At the back we find the familiar “LEGION” logo and in spite of expectations, this will be a rather compact device. It’s basically a bit larger than a smartphone, with a 7 or 8 inch diagonal. We should also get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU inside, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a large 8000+ mAh battery if we’re lucky. Extra cooling measures will be applied and refresh rate should be at least 120 Hz on an AMOLED panel.

Side trigger buttons would also be nice, but I’m not sure they would work as well on a tablet compared to a phone.
