Lenovo brought its Tab 4 slates at MWC 2017 and half a year later here they are, finally ready for a debut in India. We’re talking about 4 slates, split into two diagonal choices: 8 inches and 10 inches. These are the Lenovo Tab 4 8, Tab 4 8 Plus, as well as the Lenovo Tab 4 10 and Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus.
The bigger units come in 4 GB RAM/16 GB storage versions and 3 GB RAM/16 GB storage ones. They’re priced at $467 and $389 respectively. If you want to spend less and need a smaller slate you can pick the Tab 4 8 at $202 and the Tab 4 8 Plus at $264. Only the Tab 4 10 Plus and Tab 4 8 models are up for sale on Flipkart right now. Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus features Android 7.0 Nougat as the OS and a 10.1 inch Full HD screen, plus it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2 GHz.
There’s also an 8 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. We’ve got WiFi on board, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS, plus a 7000 mAh battery. The Tab 4 10 drops the resolution to HD, keeps the CPU and drops the RAM to 2 GB, plus the cameras to a 5 MP/ 2 MP combo. LTE is still here.
Tab 4 8 has an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, Snapdragon 425 CPU and 2 GB of RAM, plus 16 GB of storage and microSD. The OS is Android Nougat and the cameras are a 5 MP and 2 MP unit. 4G LTE and a 4850 mAh battery are all here. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus goes to a Snapdragon 625 CPU, 8 inch Full HD screen, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The cameras are now 8 MP and 5 MP units and the battery stays the same.
All these models do voice calls and also have GPS, plus USB Type-C ports.
