Easily confused with one of the new Motorola Moto X handsets, the Leagoo Elite 4 is pictured below and aside from being a looker it also comes with pretty solid specs, especially for a sub $100 smartphone. Let’s see what this Chinese device is all about. By the way Leagoo is a solid brand and our sister site reviewed one of their phones here.
The Elite 4 is a 5 inch handset, with Android 5.1 on board and 4G LTE connectivity. It also packs a quad core MediaTek MT6735 processor, clocked at 1 GHz, plus 16 GB of storage and 1 GB of RM. The screen mentioned above offers a qHD resolution and at the back we’ve got a main 5 megapixel camera, able to reach 8 megapixel shots via interpolation.
There’s also a 2 MP front camera, able to do 5 MP selfie via the same process of interpolation. The OS here is Android 5.1 with the Leagoo OS V1.1 applied on top. The device offers support for a LFC flash charge feature, that lets it charge to 40% in the time it takes to make a cup of tea. The device measures 8.9 mm in thickness and includes a 2400 mAh battery under the hood, plus a microSD card slot.
It can be found on Everbuying usually for $99.99, but thanks to a special offer, it becomes $79.99, limited to 100 stock units starting with September 3rd at 9:00 GMT.
