Indian firm Lava introduced today an entry level and budget tablet, known as the IvoryS 4G and it’s priced at just $131 it seems. This model will be available on national retail stores, multi brand outlets and online platforms in India.

It comes with a 7 inch IPS screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and relies on a quad core Cortex A53 CPU, clocked at 1 GHz. There’s also 1 GB of RAM and Android Lollipop in the mix, plus 16 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. The newcomer packs a 3000 mAh battery and it comes with a one year manufacturer warranty for the tablet.

It also comes with 6 months of warranty for the in box accessories, including the likes of battery, data cable, charger and USB cable. India is expected to have over 300 million 3G and 4G subscribers by the end of 2018, so that’s why we’re seeing more and more 4G devices rolled out lately.
