At the end of November Kim Dotcom’s Mega cloud storage service got a special iPhone app and now we’re expecting a tablet app, apparently. The Android app has been available for months now.
The Mega iPhone app allows users to browse and manage their Mega cloud storage account, which is exactly what the tablet software will offer. Fast file transfers will be available and users will be able to preview and stream supported document and file formats, export and send files and folder links.
They’ll also be able to import file links into the users Mega account. The representatives of the service have claimed that they’ll soon launch a Photo sync function and also implement all of these goodies on the iPad. Keep in mind that there’s also the version of a Pro subscription here, with 500 GB of storage space and 1 TB bandwidth per month. The subscription is $10.99 a month or you can go with a $119.99 a year deal.
