Jide is a company best known for its Remix OS platform, meant for tablets and every once in a while they also announce hardware products. This week for example, they unveiled the Jide Remix Pro tablet, that looks very elegant and it’s pictured below.
This model resembles the Surface tablets quite a bit and it comes with the brand new Remix OS 3.0. Remix Pro also features a keyboard accessory, but it lacks an integrated kickstand, instead relying on the keyboard cover to prop it up at a variety of angles. The face of the Pro Cover seems to be metallic, but the portion below is made of fabric.
Specs are reasonably strong, from the Snapdragon 652 chipset to the 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot. The 12 inch IPS screen upfront sounds solid, with a 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution and the battery inside is a 9000 mAh unit. This battery is juiced up via a special pogo pin connector and offers quick charge.
There’s an 8 MP back camera here and a 5 MP front shooter. Remix Pro weighs 1.4 pounds, measures 0.27 inches in thickness and it’s aimed at productivity. No price has been revealed.
