We wrote a couple of days ago about the Eewrite Epad X, quoting the findings of Liliputing.com about the device. Turns out that the device is also sold under the name of Janus Tablet and now we also have a price for it. What’s special about it? It’s a tablet with two screens.

The product will be up for preorder soon at $399, which is a discount for early birds, compared to the regular list price of $699. The Janus site also has new images of the machine and extra details about the dual screen tablet. It should pack two panels with the same diagonal: 9.7 inches. The front screen is an IPS LCD with a 2408 x 1536 pixel resolution, while the back screen is a 9.7 inch 1200 x 825 E Ink Carta Display panel.

There’s also Wacom Pen support, with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and everything is put in motion by a MediaTek MT8176 hexa core processor. There’s also 2 GB of RAM here, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, with support for up to 128 GB extra. We also have a 5000 mAh battery, 8 MP camera and the usual WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. There’s also optional 4G/ SIM Card support.

Stereo speakers and an USB Type-C port complete the list. We also have a dedicated button that switches from one screen to the other. The black and white one is ideal for reading and other less intensive tasks, while saving power.
