The BBK connected brands are expanding their tablet portofolio, as iQOO prepares to unveil the iQOO Pad on May 23rd. That’s when the iQOO Neo 8 phone series will debut in China. The new slate is similar to the vivo Pad 2, if not an actual rebranding of it.
The iQOO Pad is believed to be a version of the vivo Pad 2, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor instead of the Dimensity 9000 chip. It’s expected that the slate will offer a 12.1 inch IPS LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 2800 x 1968 pixel resolution. It should also have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, plus run on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top.
A 10.000 mAh battery should also be on board, with 44W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The selfie camera will be an 8 megapixel unit, while the main camera will be a 13 MP shooter, coupled with a 2 MP Macro cam. The iQOO Pad won’t feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, but it will feature stereo speakers.
vivo also introduced a keyboard case with a built in trackpad and a stylus for the Pad2, so we also expect those for the iQOO Pad. Online listings have also revealed an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version and a starting price of $341.
