iQOO has expanded its product lineup in China with the launch of the iQOO Pad 5e. This one is a performance-focused tablet that aims to bridge the gap between flagship specs and mid-range pricing. Announced alongside the new iQOO 15 series, the Pad 5e brings a mix of gaming-grade performance, sleek design, and practical productivity tools.

At its core is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a high midrange offering paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS storage. The tablet features a 12.05-inch LCD panel with a 2.8K resolution, 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling, ensuring smooth performance for both work and play. It also supports DC dimming for reduced eye strain during long viewing sessions.

For productivity, the iQOO Pad 5e integrates OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, complete with cross-device notebook syncing and PC-level WPS Office tools. A 32,200mm² three-dimensional cooling system helps sustain performance during extended workloads or gaming sessions. The tablet’s 8MP rear camera and 5MP front sensor handle photography and video calls, while the quad-speaker setup with USB-C audio promises an immersive multimedia experience.

Measuring 6.62mm thick and weighing 584g, the Pad 5e packs a substantial 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.

Price and availability

The iQOO Pad 5e starts at 1,999 yuan ($275) for the 8GB/128GB model, with higher-tier configurations priced up to 2,999 yuan ($412) for the 16GB/512GB version. It’s currently available in China, though iQOO hasn’t confirmed plans for an international release.
