WWDC 2012 starts right after this weekend and there’s a ton of rumors to go with that. Among them we find some leaked photos of a supposed “iPad Nano”, with a new dock connector and stereo speakers, that’s shown below. Odds are that this is a fake, but what if it’s not?
The folks of ZooGue cases are the ones who came up with these images, quoting “source in China”. The case design supposedly involves a 7.58 inch screen, in spite of us hearing that the new iPad would actually sport a 7.85 inch case. The current iPad design isn’t followed, so the dock connector was shrunk and now there are two speaker grilles, possibly for stereo sound. One of them could hold a mic, but we have no info on that. Right now, all the people who are into Apple news and all that say that this looks too cheap to be an Apple product.
Also, the device looks a bit too fat to be genuine, but it does make room for a bigger battery that way. Could Apple end up announcing an iPad nano at WWDC 2012? Or will they skip announcing hardware at all? I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
