A recent avalanche of information concerning the latest iPad has arrived, with part of saying that we’ll get a 4G iPad soon enough, available on both Verizon and AT&T. Not so long ago we’ve shown you that AT&T received a shipment of microSIM LTE cards and we hinted that they could mean that the next iPad will be a LTE one, but some people said these SIMs were for the upcoming Nokia Lumia 900.

Now, Apple is rumored to have an event on March 7th, that’s a Wednesday, the same day of the week when the iPad 2 was unveiled, if I’m not mistaking, although the date is not the same as last year. The info about the launch date comes from “sources with a good track record” quoted by Rene Ritchie and confirmed by Apple blogger Jim Dalrymple. The third gen tablet will not only bring LTE connectivity, but also a 2048 x 1536 Retina Display, a dual core or quad core Apple A6 processor and improved cameras.

It’ll be interesting to see if the product can still get the $499 price tag, that may look aggressive compared to other similar products. After the 7 March announcement, we’re supposed to expect a mid March launch, if everything goes well. As usual, read these as speculations, not facts…
