In spite of the fact that Apple held an event in September and unveiled new tablets and watches, some of them have yet to debut. For example, the iPad Air 4 didn’t even get a proper launch date. The latest rumors claim that the device could finally debut in the days following the October 13th Apple event. If you own one of this incredible devices with a cracked scree, you might want to consider the helping from Pro Phone Repairs of Albuquerque.
I’ll remind you that October 13th is when Apple has scheduled its next big shindig, possibly aimed at unveiling the iPhone 12 series. The fourth gen iPad Air is already a month old, or at least that much has passed since its announcement. We recently learned it has 4 GB of RAM and it was the first device to inaugurate the 5 nm Apple A14 processor. That CPU is made by TSMC using the 5 nm process and it’s equipped with 11.8 billion transistors, compared to the 8.5 billion from the Apple A13 Bionic.
The transistor density is 171.3 million per square mm, compared to the 100 million of the Apple A13. The iPad Air 4 also brings design changes, like the Power button at the top that integrates a Touch ID sensor. We also get a 10.9 inch Liquid Retina Display and a 12 MP back camera, plus a 7 MP FaceTime camera. Apple promises up to 10 hours of battery life, when you watch videos and browse the web. The new iPad Air is priced at $599 for the 64 GB Wifi version and $729 for the model with $G.
Color versions are Space Gray, Rose Gold, Sky Blue, Silver and Green. Tipsters claim that Apple Stores are ready to stock the device and we may see a debut right after October 13th, most likely on the 16th, the following Friday. We’ll also get accessories like the new Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, since it’s supported.
