We knew for a very long time that the next iPads would have Touch ID sensors, but proof is getting more and more clear in that regard. Fresh images of iPad Air 2 cases have appeared, showing us the Touch ID sensor yet again.
A Chinese case maker has published these pics made for the sixth gen iPad and you can clearly see the ring on the Home button, a clear indication of the Touch ID presence. Internally we expect to find an Apple A8 processor, the one that will probably debut on the iPhone 6 before the Air 2. There’s also an 8 megapixel rear camera and the screen size and resolution are expected to stay the same.
The base size of the device storage may move to 32 GB and the thickness of the slate may drop, as usual for Apple’s upgraded models. iPad Air 2 has all the odds of coming in November 2014, at a price point that’s similar to the existing Air, which is around 400 quid. Would you buy this tablet?
