If every start of a new year is marked by CES 2015, then it means we have a lot of new products like smartphones, tablets and even processors. Among the producers that unveiled today new CPU solutions we also have Intel, company that announced the Cherry Trail chips.

These components will be designed for affordable, low-power tablets that are going to be launched on the market in the first half of 2015. This new Intel Cherry Trail chip is the first Atom processor that is based on a 14 nanometer SOC architecture.

Also, according to Intel, such chips will offer faster graphics and longer battery life compared to the actual Bay Trail solutions available on the market. Intel Cherry Trail offers support for Intel RealSense technology and it can be introduced on Android or Windows devices.
