HMD Global has a booth at IFA 2022, where they brought among others their latest tablet. The device is the Nokia T21, which is a light refresh of the T20 model. We have all the details below.
We’re dealing with a 10.4 inch LCD tablet with a 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution and 15:9 aspect. It supports an active stylus, be it Wacom WGP or Wacom Active ES 2.0 and it can be used as a secondary display for a Windows PC. The slate runs on Android 12 on an Unisoc T612 processor, a 12 nm CPU with two Cortex-75 cores and 6 Cortex-A55 cores.
There’s also 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, which can be expanded by up to 512 GB. HMD is also promising 2 OS updates here and 3 years of monthly security updates. The tablet has 4G connectivity and supports both voice calls and texting.
There’s a hybrid slot on board, so you can have two nano SIMs on board, or a SIM and microSD. Specs also include an 8 megapixel front camera and an 8 MP back camera. The whole thing is made of aluminum and we also have plenty of recycled plastic for the antenna parts. Believe it or not, this product is rated IP52.
Nokia T21 sports a 8200 mAh battery, which charges at 18W via USB-C port. There’s also a 3.5 mm audio jack and stereo speakers in the mix. We also get a 10W charger in the box and a protective case. Nokia T21 is p[riced at $130 for the Wi-Fi unit with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There’s also a 4G LTE version.
