ASUS brought to IFA 2015 not only new products, but also info on devices we knew of, but didn’t have an exact idea when they would come to Europe. For example, the very appealing tablet ASUS ZenPad 8.0 has been detailed for the European market.
The 8 inch Android slate comes in two versions, with WiFi and 4G LTE, depending on what your choice is. The product is available in 3 color choices: black, white or silver. The back panel of the slate is adorned with embossed leather and the product has a metal body with rounded corners. ASUS ZenPad 8.0 is available as the Z380C, with a quad core 64 bit Intel Atom x3 chipset and the Z380Kl, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.
They get 2 GB of RAM and 1 GB of RAM respectively, while the internal storage is the same, 16 GB. The back camera is a 5 MP unit and the front one a 2 MP shooter. The OS here is Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI on top. ASUS ZenPad 8.0 integrate san IPS 8 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and brings DTS-HD Premium Sound, that also guarantees surround.
The Z380KL costs 172 euros right now and the Z380C comes in two weeks, priced at 132 euros.
