Apart from MeMo Pads and Transformer Pads, ASUS also introduced a new Fonepad 7 at IFA 2013. The newcomer features an Intel Atom CPU and HSPA+ high speed mobile data, reaching 42 Mbit/s downloads.

The new Fonepad 7 relies on an Intel Atom Z2560 CPU with Hyper Threading and runs Android 4.2 on top of that. The 7 inch screen available here offers a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and an IPS panel for wide view angles and excellent daylight visibility. We’ve also got dual front speakers, ASUS SonicMaster tech and the whole thing measures 10.5 mm in thickness and weighs 340 grams.

The new unit’s codename is ME372CG and it’s god Miracast wireless video streaming, a 1.2 MP front cam, a 5 MP cam at the back with autofocus and 100 continuous shots in the burst mode. 1080p video recording is also promised here and the 3950 mAh battery provides up to 28 hours of 3G talk time, 35 days of standby or 10 hours of video playback.
