iBall is having a field day today, thanks to its evolution on the Indian market. It appears the firm has ascended to be the top tablet vendor in the country and taking advantage of the momentum, it released even more slates.

The newcomers are all Android slates and their names are Cobalt Oomph 4.7D, Xotic and Slide Brace X1. According to IDC, iBall has more than tripled its market share from 4.5% in Q4 2013 to 15.6% in Q4 2014, removing Samsung from the top. Back to the newcomers, the iBall Slide Brace X1 is a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 IPS display model, with a 1.7 GHz octa core CPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

It runs Android 4.4, has dual SIM Slots and a 13 megapixel back camera, plus a 5 MP front shooter and 3G support. The price is $289 and next up comes the iBall Xotic, with a 5 inch qHD display, making it more of a phone than a tablet and packing 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, dual SIM slots and an 8 MP back camera. The price is $120. Finally, we’ve got the iBall Cobalt Oomph 4.7D with a 4.7 inch display, quad core CPU, 1 GB RAM and 8 MP camera, priced at $128.
