Huawei always brings its A game to MWC and sometimes they even get awards, like last year with the Matebook model. This year, they’re said to bring a more affordable device as well, the Huawei MediaPad T3, that was just certified.

MWC 2017 takes place at the end of next month in Barcelona and it’ll possibly include the unveiling of the Huawei P10. Huawei is also likely to unveil slates, like this unit, that’s been certified by the WiFi Alliance recently. The Huawei MediaPad T3 is obviously a follow-up to the MediaPad T2, an Android midrange-entry slate, from last year.

The previous units were the 7 inch T2 model with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a 7 inch T2 Pro unit with Full HD res and a 10 incher that was better specced. The last two had a Snapdragon 615 CPU and 3 GB of RAM. All we know about the MediaPad T3 is that it has WiFi 802.11n support, Android on board and possibly a 4G LTE version, because its codename resembles the one of a phone, the P9 Plus from Huawei.

Expect more info in Barcelona.
