Last week at CES 2016 Huawei unveiled the MediaPad M2 10 tablet, a new 10 inch slate, with an active stylus support and a powerful CPU inside. Back then we didn’t have a price for this model, but now we do, courtesy of an unveiling in China.
The 10.1 incher starts at $345 locally and it comes with a special keyboard cover, that’s shown below. 4 speakers, each with 1W capacity are included and there’s Harman/Kardon technology used here, apparently. Huawei M2 10 packs a 10.1 inch IPS Full HD screen, enhanced with ClariVu 2.0 technology, which improves color saturation and removes the blue light that affects your sleep.
Inside the slate there’s an octa core HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor, while at the back rests a 13 megapixel camera and there’s a 5 MP shooter upfront. A fingerprint scanner is embedded within the Home button at the front and the device also brings support for a pressure sensitive stylus, with 2048 pressure levels.
The WiFi model is going to cost $345, while the LTE one will go for $408.
