Huawei MatePad Pro is one of the best tablets around and also one of the most innovative ones. It inaugurated wireless charging on tablets, the punch hole camera and also fast charging. However, the fact that it was deprived of Google Services made it less appealing. Now it’s time for a new model and the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 has just cleared the 3C listing.

The device was spotted on the Chinese 3C certification site, revealing some minor info about it. The product is listed there with the model number WGR-AN19 and the listing confirms that the product will have 40W fast charging and also 5G connectivity. Sadly, no other specs are revealed. The slate is expected to pack a Kirin 9000 processor and also at least 8 GB of RAM. A 12.2 or 12.6 inch screen is in the cards, with 120 Hz refresh rate and also a punch hole for the selfie camera.

We could see two diagonal sizes actually, as one 12.2 inch model is dubbed Huaxing and the 12.6 inch inch one is Wanger. They have Samsung screen panels and probably also stylus interaction. OLED panels seem to have been chosen, which is something rather, since not even Apple is providing such screens on the iPad Pro units. We’d also like 10.000 mAh batteries inside, solid cameras, fingerprint and face unlock, plus the latest flavour of EMUI. A keyboard accessory is also very likely.
