Huawei has definitely been upping its game lately, as far as tablets and laptops are concerned. Now there’s a new slate coming, the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 inch model. It promises high end features, fast charging and a mysterious Kirin processor.

The device is expected to launch in August 2024. Huawei actually is working on several new tablets, some of them debuting next month. According to Weibo tipster @ExperienceMore, Huawei has two tablets ready for debut in August. Both devices have cleared some certifications, so they should debut soon. One of them is the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 tablet.

It supports a 100W dual port fast charger. The tablet could also have satellite SMS function, as well as NearLink for seamless connection to a stylus and more accessories. The CPU inside could end up being a Kirin 9010. The other new model is the Huawei MatePad 11.95 inch tablet, which could end up as part of the Air series.

It should support 66W fast charging and NearLink technology. The former tablet may have the model number MRO-W00, while the second is the BKY-W00. Both have been certified by the 3C authority. I expect 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage, plus 8000 mAh batteries as the bare minimum.
