Rumored for next month’s IFA 2015 unveiling and then theoretically delayed till 2016, the Huawei Mate 8 has popped up again, this time in a leak that involves a hands on video. We previously knew this handset was going to come with a Kirin 950 CPU, a very powerful Huawei chipset.

Well, we can’t guarantee this is the Mate 8, but what we can say is that this model is codenamed M200-UL00 and that it has been leaked in the video below. The person who posted the video on YouTube claims that the phone is indeed the Huawei Mate 8. The device is rumored to be packing a 6 inch Quad HD screen, a Kirin 950 SoC and 3 GB of RAM, as well as 32 GB of storage.

Apparently, there will also be a stronger version, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. At the back we’ll find a 20.7 megapixel camera, while upfront there will be an 8 megapixel shooter for selfies. There’s also a fingerprint scanner in the mix, as shown in the video, below the camera. Since the Huawei Mate 7 had a 4100 mAh battery, we’re expecting an even bigger one on the Mate 8.

Once again, this may end up not being the Mate 8, so maximum caution.
