We’re at the mid point of the summer, so it’s time to look forward to the launches of the fall. Huawei has already confirmed it’ll be taking part in the IFA 2016 event, with a series of launches. It’s no wonder that lately we’ve seen quite a few or their devices leaking, including the one below.
Originally thought to be the Huawei Honor V8 Max, this 6.6 inch device is also said to be the Huawei Honor X3, which is also a device bordering the tablet area. Huawei is certainly preparing a Honor event for July 11th in China, where this newcomer could debut with the Honor 8. For now all we have is the TENAA certification, the EDI-DL00 codename and some details.
The big phablet will have a 6.6 inch AMOLED Quad HD screen, a Kirin 950 octa core processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz and 3 GB of RAM. It’ll also bring 32 GB of storage, that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. At the back there’s a 13 megapixel main camera with dual tone sensor and an 8 MP front shooter is offered for selfies.
This is a dual SIM unit, with 4G LTE and VoLTE, plus it packs a 4400 mAh battery. Android 6.0 is expected on board, with the latest EMUI 4.1 on top. In the end the Honor V8 Max and Honor X3 could just be two names of the same product for different markets.
