The HTC Droid DNA is pretty much official now, with the 5 inch 1080p smartphone being intended for the US market. Also perceived as the US version of the HTC J Butterfly, this device will also have an international version known as the HTC Deluxe. We’ve heard this name before, when a certain “HTC dlx” or “Deluxe” leaked on the web. Now it’s real and it gets a new picture, courtesy of the usual @evleaks.

We’re dealing with a 5 inch Android phablet and HTC hasn’t disclosed anything about it just yet. HTC Deluxe should be based on the specs of the HTC Droid DNA, packing a 1080p SLCD3 screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at 441 pixels per inch. The device is also expected to come with a 2020 mAh battery and a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2 GB of dual channel RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU.

HTC Deluxe should run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or maybe even version 4.2, with a bit of lack. It should also have 16 GB of storage and apparently no slot for extra memory. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera, probably with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and back illuminated sensor. 4G LTE should also be present on the handset, but we can’t guarantee that, since there aren’t that many countries with support for this connectivity internationally. We can only hope for a decent price for this newcomer…
