After at the beginning of 2014, HP launched a couple of voice-tablets like the Slate 6 and the 7 Voice Tab, now it seems that a new slate is getting ready for its official debut on the Indian market, more precisely the HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II.

This new tablet, or phablet more-likely, comes with a 6-inch HD display (1.280 x 720 pixels), a quad-core Marvell processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB space of internal storage, and a 8-megapixel rear camera.

Therețs also dual-stereo speakers and dual-SIM support, a feature that can be useful for some of us. As it seems, the HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II will be available for the moment only in India, but there’s the possibility that the tablet to arrive in other countries too in the future.

  • Looks nice, let’s hope it covers all North American frequencies including 1700/2100

All I can say is ‘Good God’, it seems the FCC, big phone companies and politicians have this company firmly by the balls. I wish someone would say why companies like HP, Asus and others can do such projects abroad but never hear in America. Once again thank God for ZTE, I don’t know at what cost they are bringing us big screen talk de ices but as long as they have no competition these big screen off-contract devices won’t go sub 200.00, absolutely a doable purchase but hardly thoughtless.
