Honor has finally unveiled a new tablet, a model dubbed Honor Pad V8, that comes with a 2.5K Display and a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. The device went official in China for now and it brings pretty appealing specs for a decent price.
The Honor Pad V8 isn’t a very large tablet, since it packs an 11 inch screen with a 2.5K resolution and LCD panel. It offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. The exact specs of the chipset aren’t fully known yet. There’s also Honor TurboX technology, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage, plus quad speaker with micron sized polymer bass materials.
Honor Pad V8 uses a 7250 mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. It weighs 485 grams and it’s pretty slim at 7.35 mm. It sells in China for now, with a pre deposit of 100 yuan. The starting price for the 128 GB storage version is 1799 yuan, which converts to $260. It also has a keyboard and stylus and runs on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.0
There’s also the MagicRing feature, which lets it collaborate with other devices, like phones or laptops.
