HONOR just dropped a new gaming tablet in China that’s hard to ignore—the HONOR Pad GT2 Pro. It launched alongside the HONOR X70 smartphone, but it’s the tablet that’s turning heads thanks to a potent mix of flagship specs and gamer-focused features. At the heart of the Pad GT2 Pro is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, but it’s the 12.5-inch, 3K 165Hz LCD display and 8-speaker spatial audio system that really position it as a serious player for on-the-go gaming.

Wrapped in an all-metal chassis that’s just 5.95mm thin, the Pad GT2 Pro feels premium and performs accordingly. The display supports HDR Vivid, goes up to 1000 nits brightness, and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut with over a billion colors—making it just as suited for Netflix as it is for Genshin Impact. HONOR also touts PC-like input options thanks to easy keyboard and mouse mapping, while its gyroscope enhancement tech claims 19% lower latency and a 3x faster response rate, dialing in precision for motion-heavy titles.

Under the hood, the tablet is cooled by a 44203mm² superconducting 3D heat dissipation system, keeping performance steady even during extended sessions. You’ll also find up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, along with Wi-Fi 7 support powered by HONOR’s custom acceleration engine, which promises extended range and faster speeds via dual-WiFi aggregation.

The HONOR Pad GT2 Pro runs MagicOS 9.0.1 on top of Android 15, sports a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera, and houses a massive 10,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging—enough juice to keep up with all-day productivity or back-to-back gaming marathons.

The tablet is available in Crystal White and Phantom Gray, starting at 2499 yuan (around $348) for the 8GB/128GB base variant. The top-tier 16GB/512GB model will set you back 3399 yuan (about $473). Sales begin in China on July 28, 2025 through HONOR’s official channels.
