HONOR launched new products today, including the very slim Magic V3 foldable, but also a tablet with AI features, the MagicPad 2. The device impressed with an OLED screen, but the other specs are also rather solid.

The MagicPad 2 packs a 10 bit panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, as well as a resolution of 3000 x 1920 pixels. It also has up to 1600 nits of peak brightness. HONOR also unveiled that we’re getting PWM dimming at 4320 Hz here and that there’s TUV Rheinland certification for screen protection from flickering and blue light. The MagicPad 2 also has Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 out of the box and comes with a series of AI features powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Multitasking involves recognition for handwritten formulas, geometric figures, handwriting and objects.

The tablet also comes with Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6 and stylus support, namely Magic Pen 3. There are 8 speakers on board and IMAX Enhanced certification for audio and video.
