There’s a new Haier tablet in town, the G782 model, that’s shown below and that just got the approval from the Chinese FCC, aka the Tenna. This model is a 7.85 inch slate, that supports GSM and WCDMA networks.

This means the slate does voice calls and you should also know its specs are not bad. This model supports a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and uses a dual core 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 5 megapixel camera and its body measures 9.9 mm in thickness. The product weighs 330 grams, runs Android 4.4.2 and seems to adopt a metallic body. Don’t be surprised if you see this product priced at $200 or even less.

From what I can see, the bulk of the buttons, ports, slots and all that is placed at the top, together with the SIM card slot. There’s a back camera in the mix and a speaker at the lower back side. We get the earpiece placed above the display, together with a front camera. Haier G782 seems rather bulky, but for the right price that won’t matter anymore…
