While we wait for the new Gmail app, it seems that Google decided to update another popular app used by a lot of users around the world, the Play Store app. The new update version it’s 4.8.19 and it brings some UI tweaks and a new payment method for apps and games via PayPal.
The new UI looks now more minimalist thanks to the removal of the coloured bars found in music, movies and book listing categories. Anyway, the biggest update it’s the new payment method that allows users to pay for their apps just by using a PayPal account, a method a little bit easier.
We also find out that the PayPal payments will be available just for users from 12 countries for the moment: Canada, US, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. You can wait the update to show up shortly on your phone, or you can get it from here.
