It’s been a few months since Google debuted the Pixel C Android tablet, warmly received by fans of the Google brand. The big G has been extra careful with this product, especially after the lukewarm reviews of the Nexus 9. Today we learn that the slate is finally reaching stores next week.
According to a source in the Netherlands, the Pixel C is ready to be sold from December 8th. The 32 GB version will be priced at 499 euros and the 64 GB model at 599 euros. The keyboard accessory will provide inductive charging and will connect via super strong magnets, but it will cost an extra 169 euros. In USA the sums are the same, only in dollars.
The Pixel C is not your average tablet, since it docks almost at the middle of the dock keyboard, not at its top side. Considering the Dutch debut, it’s safe to say that the rest of Europe will follow soon after. A quick reminder of what the Pixel C is all about: a 10.2 inch 2560 x 1800 pixel display, the Nvidia Tegra X1 processor, 3 GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also has a LED light bar at the back like the Google Pixel notebooks.
