Google may be preparing something big to showcase soon enough, after rumors that they have a 7 inch tablet in the making with a $200 price tag. This week the search engine giant started registering everything related to Google Play, with speculations saying that this may be the name of their 7 inch tablet in the end.

They registered quite a bunch of domains, including “googleplayapps.com”, “googleplaymusic.com” and “googleplaybooks.com”, but the list is much longer. This is a hint at a new product, that seems to cover everything when it comes to apps and services, so it might be a device rather than a software. The registration took place on February 29th, when over a dozen domains were taken through the brand protection company MarkMonitor. Google hasn’t been confirmed as the buyer here, since the registrant is hidden, but it’s pretty obvious. It’s not like Apple bought them or anything…

Speculations say that the tablet will arrive in April and that it’s made by Motorola, the company that Google bought last year. Last I heard, this device was supposed to also support some Chrome features, as well as Android 4.0 or maybe even the new Jelly Bean release, that hasn’t even been confirmed to have this codename. Whatever Google does, I think it’s going to be big!
